Movement Play for Adults with Developmental Disabilities

What is it / who is it for?

This class is an adaptation of the original version of Movement Play, specifically created for (and in an ever-evolving collaboration with) the population of adults with developmental disabilities. Working with this population has it’s own unique challenges and opportunities, and the open-ended format of Movement Play has proven to be a very good framework for engaging, communicating, dancing, telling stories, making rhythms, leading and following, listening and responding, and laughing and playing together.
